GE Healthcare and Tampa General Hospital, a respected academic health system, have strengthened their collaboration by announcing an agreement to implement GE Healthcare’s Imaging and Ultrasound solutions across TGH Imaging's outpatient facilities in Florida.

This partnership aims to enhance diagnostic precision and efficiency, ultimately improving patient care and outcomes.

TGH Imaging, with 21 outpatient locations in Florida, offers advanced radiology services staffed by a team of over 65 board-certified radiologists. These experts, affiliated with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, are committed to research and teaching.

The integration of GE Healthcare’s imaging technologies aims to empower these radiologists to deliver optimal care by facilitating quicker and more precise diagnoses, improving treatment planning, and enhancing the overall patient experience.

The collaboration between Tampa General Hospital and GE Healthcare is not new, dating back to a strategic agreement in 2019. Over the years, they have successfully implemented various solutions, including the CareComm command center and imaging technology upgrades.

Notably, in March 2023, TGH Imaging became the first in Florida to adopt GE Healthcare’s Omni Legend digital PET/CT system.
