InnovHeart s.r.l. announced a significant milestone in cardiovascular medicine today. They successfully conducted the first trans-septal clinical trial implant of their proprietary Saturn Transcatheter Mitral Valve.
This groundbreaking procedure took place on May 8th, 2024, at Santaros Klinikos University Hospital in Vilnius, Lithuania, as part of the ongoing European clinical trial known as the CASSINI-EU study.
The patient, a 79-year-old female suffering from severe mixed mitral regurgitation, underwent the Trans-Septal TMVR procedure with remarkable hemodynamic outcomes.
